Kia ora!
We're Women in Urbanism Aotearoa.
Our mission is to transform our towns and cities into more beautiful, inspiring and inclusive places for everyone. We do this by amplifying the voices and actions of all self-identifying wāhine, girls and non-binary people.

Every second Thursday at Ellen Melville in Auckland City.

Bring your lunch and perhaps bring a camp chair if you want to maintain your distance even more from others.

Check out the Facebook event here.

Women in Urbanism is hosting an SGM on the 9th of April, at 10am.

We invite people to apply for:
1. Women in Urbanism Chair
2. A committee member position

(where we can take on an additional three more people)

- Both roles require you to attend monthly meetings - the time and date of these ongoing meetings will be set at the SGM.

- Committee roles are not intensive, and you can choose to do as much volunteer work as you want, including: running events, being a spokesperson, writing submissions, running campaigns, helping to maintain our website etc. The main thing we require from members is to be collaborative, kind, and passionate about Women in Urbanism issues and our kaupapa.

Please find the WiU Principles and Rules here.

If you wish to apply for any of these roles, please download and fill out the form by the 8th of April.

Please then send this form to womeninurbanismnz@gmail.com
